Oh goodness my friends... where to start!?!? Three years old is giving us a run for our money, but it also comes with some funny conversations/what I over hear him saying etc... Here are some recent ones.... remember my life revolves around all things kids... including bathroom humor, so beware.
Carter (while sitting on the potty): "Mommy, I went poo poo. Wipe my hiney."
Me: "Carter, it's time for you to start trying to wipe it yourself. Try one time first, then I'll finish."
Carter after he wipes: "Ok YOUR TURN!" (Like it's a special treat to do it)
I wipe...
Carter: "We're Sharing!!!"
Carter will ask for something, that he knows the answer is "No", but it will go something like this...
Carter: "Can I have chocolate milk/watch a movie/stay up later etc, mama?"
Me: "No, Carter. We don't drink chocolate milk/watch a movie/stay up late except for special occasions."
Before I even finish saying no...
Carter: "I mean for tomorrow.... I'm asking for tomorrow"
Saying our prayers:
Carter: "I'm thankful for zebras and antelope"
